Mid Argyll Youth Chorus won the Intermediate Choirs contest and subsequently were awarded the coveted Gifford Bowl for the best choir or band of the festival

Holly Renton and Cara Blyth won the Mid Argyll Male Voice Choir bowl for their performance of An Coineachan...

Felix Maddox, Gavin Johnson and Alistair Cupples performed to a high standard in the brass solo competition S1-S3. Gavin was awarded 1st place.

Veuve Clicquot  gave a stunning performance of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars to a full house, to be awarded the hotly contested Kilmartin Shield in the Open Ensemble Competition.

Kyle Renton of Mid Argyll Youth Chorus  won the Youth Chorus Cup for his splendid rendition of

"My Love is like a Red Red Rose."


Shona  Keith was awarded the Knapdale Gold Medal after receiving a rare  honours.award in the Open Vocal Solo Competition.

Eve Maxwell and Tiegan Holroyd performed a winning flute duet to receive the Gordon Evans MBE Challenge Cup.

Ella MacKay won the verse speaking competition P4/5

The audience enjoyed recitations from Julia Spencer and Kay Hunter in the Adult Verse Speaking competition.

Lorna Young won the Tom and Margaret MacInnes Plate and the Smiddy Bistro Trophy for her piano solos.

Inveraray's Cara Blyth was named winner of the Scottish Co-op CWS Premier Award, highlighting her as the adjudicators' choice for the most promising performer of the festival.

InverarayPrimary School  performed two lovely Gaelic Songs.

Ardrishaig Primary School Choir won the Primary Choir and the Primary Choir (Scots) Competitions for the third year running.

Argyll Brass were jubilant in their well-deserved win over the renowned Campbeltown Brass in the Bands Competition.

Catriona McLean and Alison McGinty won the Kilmartin Hotel Plate for their vocal duet.


Catriona then went on to win the Ballymeanoch Plate in the very popular Songs from the Shows Competition.
